| One day at a time. |
Let's just say I've become an avid workaholic. I enjoy my job, I like being at the workplace, the people are nice and lively so it feels as if I'm hanging out with a bunch of friends instead of going to work.
It's nice getting paid just to hang out ^.^
The only drawback is that I have no life outside the workplace, I've even limited the hours with my dearest to the mornings and early afternoons and Sunday's. :/
Poor thing, I plan to make it up to him...
smothering him with hugs and kisses....then asking for his credit card XD

You know what, the bestest thing about my honey is that he's so supportive and generous, I seriously am NEVER in NEED...(I never said want...I want a ton of stuff.) :)
But anyways, back on topic; because of work, I have to life out of it, and so I've grown lazy with everything...including exercising which is the BIGGEST problem. BAH!
I know, I KNOW! I'm skinny, but still I'd REALLY love to tone out my horrible legs! disgusting flabby things they are. Oh, and my butt -.- but I wont get into that.
bleh.
most exercises are really boring, like frog squats, effective yet boring and ouchiness, oh, and boring lunges. I dislike all the exercises <<--in that link.
Anybody got any interesting work out methods for the lower body?
Maybe Yoga and Pilates positions would be MUCH more interesting than squatting. :/

Random-ness. foohtawah. I attempted to do the " do-it-yourself-lip balm-stain" I didn't exactly fail to follow all the intstructions, I just neglected to follow the "right way to do it" So I could not find food coloring in the kitchen, and I stompped all over the place PMS'ing about not having things when I "need" them the most. Then I thought, "I SHALL DO IT ALL BY MYSELF!!!" I brainstormed about natural red coloring.... big red strawberries, which I had in the fridge.
ah my. I never fail to make a fool out of myself. nonetheless, it worked ^.^ haha. *pats her head* it didn't exactly have the nice juicy red color I hoped for, but it did make my lips slightly pinker than usual. I even tried it on my brother and his best friend, I have pictures to prove it...but meh. I didn't upload them yet. ~~~ To dye or NOT to dyeee?? So the majority of people say I shouldn't color my hair. They either say natural is the way to go, or it's a total waste of money to color my beautiful black hair (psh. vain I be. yes. lying I not. no.)... depending on who I am with, I change my mind constantly on what I want to do... I see the sense in NOT coloring my hair, less damage, which means healthy-ER hair, not spending 70 USD, which means more money in my slowling growing savings. But then, if I color my hair, I can have the satisfaction of "looking nice" :/ everything leans more to NOT coloring my hair, and yet I continue to crave a different hair color. I swear, I am one of the most fickle people you'll ever meet. Anyhow, I don't have virgin hair, I've dyed it a couple of times now: 1'st time: Professionally done in a hair studio in the Philippines, a nice vibrant red color. Highlights only. 2'nd time: baught CRUDE hair dye in a market place, my girl cousin dyed chunks of my hair, I swear that stuff almost KILLED my hair...it smelled terrible too. It didn't show at first, but after being exposed to sunlight it turned a bronzy-reddish color, which I was satisfied with. (in the Philippines again.) 3'rd time: baught more crude hair dye, this time in the United States...less damaging...but still done unprofesionally...this time by my guy friend. meh. we dyed it a violet color, and it covered my red, so we tried a red color and it never showed up :/ 4'th time: I learned my lesson and got it done professionally by the lady who does my hair to this day, highlights yet again (I don't think I've ever dyed my entire head) a nice warm red color that barely showed up :) *sigh* I'm thinking either red highlights again, with a nice color that actually contrasts my black hair. Or getting my entire head done with a dark creamy brown, or a nice "bronze" color.  I really like that color, but I'm not sure I could pull it off so well as Ayumi Hamasaki can. ( on a side note: I DID'NT KNOW HER ENTIRE FACE WENT UNDER THE KNIFE!! That makes me feel a WHOLE lot better about myself. *grins*)
Or that brown. I could pull off that brown ^.^

So, as I have mentioned sometime before in my previous posts, I play on Travian quite frequently. It's a little online game that requires a few clicks of the mouse and tada! you're finished for the day, it quite honestly could take you five minutes just to play.
You have cute little farms, and you get a cute little village where you build your cute little city, and train cute little soldiers. I lie. It's not the SIMS. Me and my bf are being attacked like crazy.

It's unbelievable how we get so caught up in our hectic lives, we run helter-skelter to and fro, here and there...work and play.
Sometimes we need to take a break from life itself and look to the sky,
not that it has the answers, but to mimic it's stillness and enjoy the surreal beauty of it.
A little time for a little reflection.
 We all need to slow down :)

| what would the world be like... |
...without rocket launchers?  I seriously want to rocket jump right now, its been quite a while since I've played an awesome video game. A game where it seriously requires more than just clicking a button ( I've been playing on travian for a while :/ and not much skill is needed to play that game.)
The bf is borrowing his friend's PS3 for the summer, and I'm extremely excited! I've been banned from playing xbox360 games that can be played on the PS3 by my darling till he gets the PS3...*drools* THEN I CAN PLAY...Devil May Cry IV!! ooh yayz! I really have been aching to play it ever since I watched the pro promo for the game.
I'm not a big fan of PS3 come to think of it, xbox and xbox360 are my favorite consoles...
Recently, I've noticed a few of my fellow makeup bloggers are gamers! would'ya think of that?! I found that pretty awesome. I'd like to know, what are YOUR favourite video game consoles and video games of all time? :) |

| A jam packed fun weekend. |
After a long and busy week working (which explains my absence from my beloved blogger) I get rewarded by my wonderful love and our friends... :D
My bf's friend from VA came down to visit him and on Saturday we went boating! How exciting was that? It was beautiful...but nastily hotttt. Meh. I had to resist the urge to jump from the boat into the nice cool water which I was sticking my footsies in. I didn't bring my camera but I took a photo with my sad little RZR phone!  (Bf's best friend on the left, BF on the right.) It kind of sucked that I had to work later on that day so we couldn't stay long :( But we're planning to go again in the near future. The next day was awesome as well! Except for my mini haul...which I will proceed to kick my ass the next couple of days (DAMNIT! 55 USD! DAMNIT!) Anyhow, we went to the beach. Hot WEATHER. COLD water. *shivers* I got in...spent a minute in the water...and never got back in again 0.o 
There's my friend and her bf listening to her ringtone on my phone XD (show me your bootyhole *cringes* I know...I have a dirty mind.) 
owh-mai-freakin-goddess! This HAS to be ONE OF THE WORST pictures of me... I SWEAR that is the spf reflection from the flash!! MY FACE ISN'T LIGHTER THAN MY BODY!!! AAAHH! But yes, I am that flatchested, and yes, that is my rib sticking out in the corner XD ahahaha!!!! mai-fucking-gosh...I see my rib!! lawlz! I'm dying. bah! All in all, the trip to the beach was extremely fun, went swimming for a minute, walked around for a few more minutes, played DDR for a while, went out to eat...then came back home :) MINI-HAUL: The DAMAGE=55 USD...and a couple cents... X_x 
You say: SURELY that can't be enough to add up to 55 bucks! right?! Right. The rest of the money went to food and candy.... and a big blue bouncy ball. doh. *slaps forehead* |

Actually, I've just been working every single effin day of this week, (except for Sunday)
I got my sad little paycheck this week, and I actually decided to spend money on a concealer over ten dollars!! wow. I'm not being a tight wad!

that's amazing. Usually I'm really tight-fisted about my dollars...ah well, at least I know my next paycheck will make me feel fantastic.
I'm not one for brand names, but I decided to give Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Concealer a try... 
12 USD. Not bad.
Nice creamy coverage, light weight and breathable; the only con so far is that it wont set unless you pat it down with a powder of some sort...mineral preferably.
I'd post pictures of examples but I just got it this afternoon, and i just got back from work so I'm a tad bit (okay, maybe really) lazy right now. Anyhowz, I like it a lot ^.^ it blends well.
I think I'd like to try their lipgloss next...either that or Bath and Body Work's new Pop Culture Plumper lip gloss (I'm not much for the plumping...but it smells really nice XD)

| much-a-going on... |
There are so many things we take for granted in our lives.
A couple of bloggers I know have posted about their loses in their lives and I am proud to say that I did feel extremely sorry and touched, and it wasn't fake sympathy...
But then I read Kimmei's blog post...and I burst into tears.
The two stories above touched me the most, the first one especially.I cried, I cried for Lurve and her friend, I cried for An unknown girl, I cried for Song Xinying's Parents, and I cried for that baby's mother, and I cried for everybody hurting because of a lost loved one. I'm sorry, I was going to post something different to contrast the bad taste of my last post, but I feel this is more important.We really should not take our loved ones for granted, we should cherish and hold them close to us everyday. |
