PRO AT COOKING
Yesterday my younger brother had two of his friends over our house to spend the night, and one of his friends so happened to be leaning on our kitchen counter as I walked into the room and OH TO MY SURPRISE!!

....

HE LOOKS LIKE DAVE FROM Pro at cooking!

It was exciting.
I insisted on taking his picture, but I couldn't find my camera so I used my phone instead. I totally would have smacked on a black apron on him and made him pose behind my kitchen counter, but he already thought it was weird enough that I wanted a picture of him and kept on squealing and pointing my finger at him and exclaiming how much he looked like Dave. XD

working hard.
I like having a bunch of things that I HAVE to do.
In other words, I enjoy being busy, which will explain the five or six days delay on my blogging! :D

Anyhow, I've been meaning to share pictures of the jewelry me and my friend are making. We have dubbed our jewelry business name: L.I.S.I. (love is simply irresistible...)
hopefully we'll be able to make a few sales.
(We have two requests for custom made earings ^.^)
I'd appreciate feedback on what you think...
send it all to LeanasStory@aol.com, thank you.
The uploading quality for blogger is pitiful. So excuse the blurry-NESS.

my favorite cellphone charm that we made.

Sooo...I played lasertag a few days back.
I want to go and play again, it was utterly confusing...which equals so much fun.
The only bummer is that it costs five dollars for seven minutes.
I. Am. Not. Made. Out. Of. MONEY.

...I did get my paycheck yesterday :D
it made me smile.

let's just say it's the biggest paycheck I have ever got, although to normal people its a meager amount of money, it's a wonderful feeling for me to be able to once again put money into my bank account :)

hair.
The last time I had my hair cut, the lady who was cutting my hair was surprised over how healthy my hair was, and wanted to know what I did. I have naturally straight hair, so I don't kill my hair by straightening it.
I rarely ever dry my hair after I shower. (Which is probably why my hair is really healthy.) I do what anybody should do...eat healthy, take my vitamins, and go yay! Honestly, I don't see what the big fuss is with hair...I don't pay attention to what I do to make my hair look good. I just wash it, brush it, then get going. :) I guess I'm lucky.Except in the morning....I have bed hair. I took the above picture right after I woke up. Heh, ew huh? (I still look kinda sleepy.)

Anyhow, I had an awesome easter sunday, I hope you did. It was all thanks to this boy:

we played video games, video games, and more video games. And on Thursday hopefully I can go play lasertag for the first time. Me, Him, and my best friend :)

we'll all go pewpew.

to draw, or not to draw?
I'm excited.
My father has a friend who wants me to draw for him, so he can publish it in the local newspapers. The only drawback is I've never drawn political cartoons for anybody...
I've illustrated for childrens books, my own creations, and for people who just wanted a picture...but never political!

Political cartoons are mostly harsh drawings with exaggerated lines and long and big noses for the politicians. My style is sort of a cutesy-cutesy innocent childish drawings...

meh. we'll shall soon see the outcome.

wish me luck :)

Mines is a sweetie, he got me two fabulous shirts. Did yours get you any? :p

I was pretty excited when I got the new shirts...who wouldn't? I mean, come on! New cloths? New AWESOME cloths? It makes me all mushy and happy inside to know he thought of getting me stuff I wanted.

money problems.
In starting our business, I spent $59.64 (That was a HARD kick in the behind.) I've had to calculate how much we have to price our items so we make a profit instead of a terrible loss.
During my little spending spree I somehow realized how difficult it is to come by money, and that what I was doing was painful (spending hard earned money).

I developed a different mindset from the one I had a week ago...

YAY! I AM NOW AN OFFCIAL CHEAPSKATE.

I thought that if anybody stole my purse, it wouldn't really bother me (besides my drivers licinse.) because I don't have money in it, I keep my cellphone in my pocket, and my wonderful boyfriend is yet again in possession of my debit card.
But now I see it differently!
Even if I don't have money in it, I'll be losing money that I (and others) PUT into it.

1.) My Fossil Purse: $64.99
I was attracted to this purse because it looked durable and it had a lot of pockets.
My aunt bought it for me as a graduation present.
2.) Receipts.
3.) An assortment of cards. ex.:library cards, membership cards...
4.) Notebook. 50 pesos, so one dollar?? (My cousin bought for me in the philippines.)
5.) Pictures.
6.) Cellphone, Razr. (The same phone almost EVERYBODY has. -.-) $50.00
7.) My ball ball. I carry it around....BECAUSE I CAN! OKAY?!?
8.) My lucky cat that one of my friends got me for Christmas, I don't think the words even mean lucky, I wouldn't know, I can't read Chinese. I bring it around everywhere though, and when I play DDR, she sits ontop of the screen. :D
9.) $1 and 10 cents.
10.) Visine eye drops and clinique moisturizing lotion. Those two added up would be around $10
11.) Keys :D (My duck key is awesome.)
12.) Dramamine. (I get car sick on long trips. Long trips meaning over five hours.) I have two, so around $10
13.) 2 spf 20 softlips chapstick $3.50, and Burts Bees Raspberry lip gloss $4.50
14.) 2 eyeliners: aura science $10.00, clinique *free. Clinique mascara *free
15.) Clinique compact powder *free
16.) concealer. $6.00
17.) meh. another concealer which I don't use but just sits around in my purse. $3.50
18.) Neutrogena Rapid Clear $7.00
19.) eye lash thingy...I don't know what it's called -.- *free
20.) comb and hair thingy. haha. $1.00
(* my mother got a deal which enabled her to get a ton of free stuff from Clinique if she bought a certain item, then she gave what she didn't want to me ^.^)
*sigh* It'll make me feel bad if somebody stole my purse, not because it was mine (lol), but because most of the stuff I got were from people who took their hard earned money and spent it on me. meh. I spend too much money on cosmetics.
They say you can tell a woman by the contents of her purse...
There you go.
What does my purse say about me?
haha. I read "vain" all over it.
:)

In another effort to save money I'm planting a garden, and tonight me and my father are going to shop for seeds. Plus, it's an excuse for me to get my butt outside, since I'm such a greenhouse plant, and I spend my days inside instead of out.

haha.
Buisness + Fun = Last Night.

Me and my best friend are launching a small buisness, and last night was our "official" starting day.

We took the car, drove to the nearest arts and craft store and bought an abundance of beads and trinkets to help us on our road to creating earings, necklaces, bracelets, cellphone charms, and the like.

But of course, when you're with your best friend, you can't resist having a bit of fun while working!

The problem is, I take fun to the next level.

I bought a wig...a blonde wig at that. We all know it's hard for Asian women to pull off the blonde hair bombshell sort of thing XD

We either look like *cough*sluts*cough*, trailer trash red-necks, and or pretty much stupid.
We wanted to try it out :) heh.
It was a helluva lotta fun. Wigs (blonde ones at that) are extremely entertaining.
ahah. You must admit, we are pro. (Meh. not really...) we just know how to keep ourselves occupied.

Even my brother tried the wig on for size.

:D

I'll update you guys on our jewelry. ^.^ bai for now.

impulse buying.

Impulse buying.
I almost gave in.

The only thing that stopped me was three words:

OUT OF STOCK.

:) my boyfriend was on my side,
he told me the shirt would have looked good on me...

(That picture isn't mines btw, the site I got it from wouldn't let me have the image url, so I just print screened and stuck it on paint ^.^' hope nobody minds.)

Anyhow, my lovely boyfriend stood in line outside of wal-mart from 3:30 PM till 12:01 AM to obtain the hard-to-get Wii for his friend; he was the first in line.
So, now it's 3:46 PM and now he and my younger brother are playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I would like to know who composed the music for some of the levels of that game, the music is amazing, uplifting, and surprisingly soothing. (In particular I like the song in Sub Space Emissary on the second level Fox is in.)

Music is just another key to our emotions, it can make us happy, sad, make a powerful moment even more overwhelming, but I'm sure you already know that.
"Music is what feelings sound like." ~Author Unknown
"A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence." ~Leopold Stokowski
It's amazing how much impact music makes on us! Games, and Movies won't be AS astounding without a wonderful musical score.
"I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality." ~H.A. Overstreet

What would our world be without music?

heh....and foundation and concealer.
(My face is breaking out, it may be the olay or new foundation...=/)

I may need to experiment...-.- I don't really want to break out any more though.

Who, What, When, Where, and Why most girls don't play video games.

(I AM ZEE UBER MEDIC!!!)

WHO- who doesn't play video games? The answer, Most girls age ten and over.

WHAT- and if they do play video games, what do they like to play? Either it has nothing to do with blood and gore because it's scary, a cutesy Anime RPG, Something like that new Hannah Montanna game (*cringes*), and or, all the fad-ish games that are all the rage among the guy gamers...like Halo 3.

WHEN- meh. I don't know how often they play, but I'm guessing not very much.

WHERE- their boyfriends house, or their younger brothers bedroom? (Nothing wrong with that, XD I do that haha.)

WHY- ....who knows why? I don't understand why anybody wouldn't want to give anybody else a boom headshot in the face.
But several of my girl friends have giving me their perspective on the gaming world, and why they don't walk around with rocket launchers slung behind their shoulder.

Friend #1: thinks her boyfriend loves his video games more than her, and would rather play them then hang out with her. She feels that she is completely ignored when he's all over his xbox.

Friend #2: thinks that video games are for stupid fat people that have lived in their parents basement for half of their lives.
(Shows how much SHE knows -.-)

Friend #3: is scared of blood. Even computer generated blood. And Even screams when she gets a papercut.

Friend #4: doesn't play video games because she thinks it is a waste of time and doesn't believe in violence.

Friend #5: plays video games, but only does it to meet guys. She only started playing because her ex-boyfriend brought her into the gaming world.

I had work yesterday, and I was able to get to know one of my guy co-workers much better than the rest because somehow we started talking about video games.
He was amazed! (I don't see why) he exclaimed, "FINALLY! A girl who likes HALO 3!"
I laughed and told him that there are a lot of girls who play Halo 3....then I told him to go and buy the orange box and play TF2.

Later on after work, I was talking to one of my guy friends on the phone and told him about my co-worker's surprise in me playing video games,
"I don't think It's BECAUSE you play halo 3 that he's amazed, it's because you PLAY halo 3 and ENJOY It." He said to me. :) That made me feel good.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against girls playing video games...
The more the merrier!
I just think that people should do it to enjoy it, not to use it to get a new boyfriend.

It takes a lot to be called A GAMER, and even more to be PRO.
